"R'ish'tka" Part two
 
Ne'ris'tkia continued to look skyward. Her people had had sub-atmospheric  
vessels for sometime, this was the first vessel to go beyond their atmosphere.  
To explore what else lie beyond the moons and stars.
 
A one man vessel had been launched approximately two days earlier. They had  
yet to hear from the ship so they had no idea what the pilot was experiencing 
or  if the ship had even made it out of the atmosphere.
 
Walking over to the science building Ne'ris'tkia entered and headed toward  
the main science lab. Upon her entering everyone knelt down on their knees, as  
was custom when the queen entered any building or gathering. She made her way 
 across the room to where a group of consoles and monitors were beeping.
 
"Someone explain to me what all this is about? Why haven't we heard from  our 
ship?"
 
One lone scientist edged slightly in front of the rest. "Your majesty, it  is 
an honor to have you here in our lab. These console's," she waved her arm  
over, "help us to keep an eye on the ship as well as any other approaching  
vessels from the sky. We don't yet know why we have lost contact with the ship. 
 
We are working on that problem now."
 
"That is not a satisfactory answer." Ne'ris'tkia was getting agitated. "I  
did not send one of our best people into space only to lose them. I expect you  
to find them and soon."
 
The scientist lowered his head and whispered, "Yes, your majesty."
 
Ne'ris'tkia turned and followed by her trusted advisor's left the science  
academy and returned to her chambers. She needed to talk to her advisor's.
