    Skyler and Lt Cate were now standing in the lift facing each other not 
saying a word. They had said all they could. Skyler had nothing left to say to 
this woman. It didn't matter anyway, because Lyryn had already made up her 
mind. Skyler had already learned the hard way that was her mind was made up 
there was no changing it. None at all.

    "Computer Engineering."

    The two women waited as the lift took them to engineering. Once it arrived 
it came to a smooth start and Skyler pulled her phaser and told Lt Cate to exit 
the lift and to head towards engineering. As they made their way to engineering 
Skyler spotted different crewman in different uniform so she knew the Captain 
was up to something which made her feel better. 

    She opened her communicator. "Captain, this is Skyler we are just outside 
of Engineering and will be entering shortly.

    "Skyler, we will be waiting for you."

    Something didn't sound quite right but Skyler acted as if nothing was out 
of the normal.

    The Lt. didn't have much to say, and as far as that goes neither did 
Skyler. Skyler did go and make sure the bonds were tighter. Once she was 
satisfied she then returned to her side of the lift.
    
    "Cate's I really don't understand you. Right now I am not even going to 
try. I will let the Captain deal with you. Maybe then you will listen. I doubt 
it but there is always hope."

    The lift stopped and Skyler pushed the Lt out into the hallway and followed 
behind. "Just follow the signs to engineering."

    They made their way to Engineering and entered. Skyler was surprised to see 
Anthony in a captain's uniform but she didn't let on.

    Captain, this is Lt. Cate from the UCP Tempest. I have brought her down for 
questioning.

Lyryn silently bowed her head before the captian of the Avalon.  She stoically 
met his eyes as she said, "Captain."
