Predicament
by Junior Lieutenant Phillipa Waterson
Phillipa sat at her post on the bridge, looking at the viewscreen that was
off. She was absently calculating things in her head. The look on her face
was sheer disbelief in what she figured.
Then it turned to confusion as she wondered. Shaking her head, it couldn't
be that.
She thought that she must be misgauging something. Tapping a note into her
planner she knew the only way to find things out would be to get scanned by a
doctor.
The only time she had relations was in that dream, with... that's when her
eyes got really big. It was a dream, wasn't it? But she had talked to the
Captain about it, it seemed to be a shared dream, not real.
Her mind started running rampant. Her pulse quickened. The breathing was
short. Before she knew it, she was laying on the deck, having passed out.
