<USS Avalon> Out for a Stroll

Out for a Stroll

Keith was still waiting word from command regarding the Romulan.  He was 
tired of working in his office, and as it was nearing the end of the shift, he 
decided to stroll the corridors.  He had changed out of his normal uniform, 
into 
something more comfortable, very few had seen him in normal clothes, as he was 
more business.

He walked along, traversing several decks.  Nodding to the crew as he passed. 
 As he turned a corner, he saw her.  Vevay Davis.

She was dressed with a jacket and pants.  He backed up slowly so he would not 
be seen as she was standing outside of someone's quarters waiting to go in.  
As he peered around again, she was gone, and must be inside.

He walked down and looked at the door, and frowned.  He continued on and 
headed up to the level above.  Once there he accessed the computer to see who's 
quarters they were.  Ffej Harak.  Ketchum visibly frowned again.

"Everything alright, Captain?"  an Ensign inquired.

"Yes, fine, thank you", closing what he was looking at and continuing on.

His mind was racing.  He was actually jealous, but it was his own actions 
that pushed her away.  Surely the roses didn't matter, he should have signed 
the 
card that he included with them.  He would rectify that.

Making his way back to his quarters, he went to a console and brought up 
every type of flower there was, "Computer, send these five varieties", he 
touched 
the screen, "to the replicator and create a dozen of each."  White Daisies; 
Pink Tulips; Yellow Daffodils; Red Gladiolus; Purple Iris.

Suddenly the replicator came alive and dispensed the sixty flowers, gathering 
them up, he carried them to the JAG Office.  Luckily, no one saw him walking 
with the flowers.  Hoping that no one was there, he entered and it seemed 
quiet in the outer office, and the inner office door was closed.  He placed 
them 
on her desk, a note placed with them stated, "Come see me, K."  He walked back 
out and went back to his quarters to get some sleep, for in the morning, he 
was going to call command.
