"Orders to report to the Avalon"

         Dr. Cazook had paged Dr. Brookman and was waiting for his arrival, 
when the computer beeped with an incoming message. The message was for her, 
which in itself was a surprise. She would have thought that the message would 
have been for Dr. Brookman. She took the message off the computer and took it 
with her into her little cubicle of an office. She didn't like having other 
people around when she was reading her mail.

         She carefully and gingerly opened the packet with the message 
contained inside. It wasn't often that she received important mail, let alone 
from 
someone with such prestige as Admiral Pew or Fleet Captain Ketchum. She had yet 
to meet Captain Ketchum but had heard wonderful things about him and was 
looking forward to serving under him. She began to read the message:

         "To Dr. Alexis Cazook from Fleet Captain Keith Ketchum and Admiral 
Pew; This is to inform you that you will be boarding the USS Avalon when she 
arrives to pick up Cmdr Skyler. Your duties will entail monitoring all persons 
who were involved in the brain wipe procedure. You are also to remain in 
constant contact with Dr. Brookman on Starbase 12 and keep him informed of any 
and 
all changes that you may find. You are not to interfere with the day to day 
operations of the ship, but rather act as an observer, unless you are called 
upon 
by the medical staff. Otherwise you are to concentrate on the mission stated 
above and keep in contact with Dr. Brookman,

         This cold be the beginning of the ens=d and they don't even know it.
