<USS Avalon> Open Invitation to Deep Space Delta One

The Deep Space Delta One sim would like to announce a new feature that is
being integrated into the sim. Being a large station in space, we are trying
to increase the "station" feel of the sim. To that end, we are opening The
Core to all CPA advanced sim members for in-character role play. The Core is
the merchant area of the station, both similar and larger than the Promenade on
DS9. In fact you can think of DSD1 as much more similar to Babylon 5 in a
Trek Universe than DS9. At present we have a staffed club and resturant, The
Neutral Zone, open for your pleasure. There are also a multitude of shops,
hotels, resturants, and businesses that are limited only by your imagination.
As
interest increases and the need arrises, the staffed portion of The Core may
be expanded by sim host team. There will be further announcements when and if
this happens.
What this all means is that you have a place to role-play in an Star Trek
environment from 10-11pm on Monday nights. To get a better feel for the
