<USS Avalon> On the Way to the Meeting

On the Way to the Meeting
by Captain Keith Ketchum

That night, Keith lay in his own bed on his own ship again. Luckily, Captain
Flubb had used different quarters and left these untouched so that if he ever
needed the use of the ship, again. Perhaps Flubb knew that Ketchum would
return to the Avalon.

Keith walked Deck Two trying to avoid any delegates and nodding to the
security officers posted around.

From behind him he heard it, "Captain, excuse me, Captain."

Keith rolled his eyes before turning around, "May I help you?"

"I am S'on, but you are not Flubb."

"That is most certain, I am not", Keith replied

"Where is Flubb?"

"Flubb is indisposed, I am now the Commanding officer of the Avalon, now.
What can I do for you." Ketchum didn't want to let out that Flubb was dead.

"Captain, we were under the impression that we would be able to fully observe
the crew at work."

"I understand, S'on, I am on my way to meet with my command team to find out
what is going on, and hopefully get things straightened out. Now, if you will
excuse me."

S'on let him go on his way, and returned to his own quarters, wondering why
there was such a change in command in the middle of a mission.

He made his way to the conference room on Deck one, the meeting had been
scheduled for morning, and he hoped that all necessary parties would be there.
He
wanted some answers.
