<USS Avalon> On Duty

On Duty
by. Lieutenant Junior Caine Reilly McKinsely

Caine received a message on in her office. She read it over for the second
time before quickly canceling all her appointments and locking the
interrogation room. Grabbing a PADD, she headed out of her office and at fast
pace headed towards the turbo lift.

?Bridge,? she said in a very commanding and fast voice. In her head, she was
going over the situation again and again, looking at it from different angles
and trying to make better sense of it and how to deal with it. Caine figured
that Commander Sierra would end up blocking off the Bridge and she could only
hope that she got there before it was too late. She felt that she would be
better in service if she was by the captain?s side.

The turbo lift stopped and Caine walked out onto the bridge, relieved to see
that she was able to get on the bridge and went straight over to the captain.
Stopping next to him, she showed him the proper respect and waited for his
attention to turn on her before she spoke about the situation and gave possible
counseling and advice.
