         Skyler had been in sickbay with Cazook longer than she had intended 
to be. So while Alexis wasn't looking she snuck out and made her way to the 
bridge. She found the nearest lift and entered it. Leaning against the wall she 
ordered it to take her to the bridge. She still had her headache, but she 
would rather deal with it, than deal with Dr. Cazook at the moment. She did 
have 
to tell Captain Flubb about the new Doctor, which was going to be an experience 
in itself. She was rubbing her temples as the lift stopped and the doors 
opened allowing her to exit onto the bridge.

         Looking around she saw no sign of Captain Flubb on the bridge. She 
did see Ensign Michaleson at the helm, who informed her that the Captain was in 
his ready room. Which "had" been her ready room until he had taken it over 
and moved her to deck 3. She still was not happy about that, but there wasn't 
much she could do about it.

         She walked over to the ready room, where she found Snuffy, from the 
Science dept. She wondered what he was doing there. He saluted and she 
returned the salute and rang the chime to the ready room. They both waited for 
the 
Captain to let them in. After a few moments she rang the chime again. Still 
there was no answer from inside. Thinking to herself, ~this is strange~.

         "Captain, this is Cmdr Skyler, I need to talk to you." Still no 
answer. Now she was getting worried. "Computer override security controls to 
Captain Flubb's ready room, command code Skyler Beta Alpha 43 Zeta one."  The 
door 
opened and Skyler walked in followed by Snuffy.

         Once inside Skyler stopped dead in her tracks. What she saw was 
Captain Flubb laying across his desk looking very dead. Immediately her medical 
background took over. Very carefully she went over to him, making sure not to 
touch anything. She checked his pulse and he was indeed dead.

         She reached up and tapped her comm badge. "Commander Sierra this is 
Commander Skyler, I am in the Captain's ready room. I need you to bring a 
security detail immediately." The next thing she did was call the medical 
department and forensics. "Ensign Daros this is Commander Skyler I need you to 
report 
to the Captain's ready room immediately. Dr. Idrys this is Commander Skyler I 
need you to report to the Captain's ready room immediately."

         Skyler couldn't believe this had happened. Her headache had just 
gotten twice as bad. Now she not only had a headache due to the brain wipe, she 
was going to have to deal with the death of the Captain as well as the 
Delegates. She was going to have to report this to Fleet Captain Ketchum on 
Starbase 
12 and he was not going to be happy. Not at all.

         Why did trouble always happen when she had to take over command of 
the ship? She could she it in her mind. It was the Romulan Neutral zone all 
over again. All she could think of was not again, please not again.
