"No Job and No Place to Go!"

         Mehdi had just left Skyler's quarters and now she was left alone 
again !! She hoped that being left alone wasn't going to become habit forming. 
Especially now, when she had no job, and no place to go.

         She had heard what she thought was the voice of an old friend, her 
Captain, telling the rest of the crew of how she had been replaced. It made her 
feel like a piece of old carpeting that could be thrown out the air lock or 
some such thing and forgotten about. That's what this so called confinement 
felt like. Sure if she wanted she could wander the halls or the holodecks she 
could but how many times can you look at the same walls. She couldn't even 
change 
the hallway carpet since her command codes were changed. Then of course there 
was Mehdi.

         Ensign Mehdi was a total shock to her. Her reaction to him was even 
more of a shock. She had no idea where he came from or why she was so 
attracted to him, but at the same time she had to wonder if she should be 
fraternizing 
with an enlisted man or just go with her feelings, which were at that 
particular moment running rough shod over her. She had no idea where these 
feelings 
were coming from.

         She was in turmoil and didn't really know who she could talk to. She 
certainly couldn't talk to the counselor, she couldn't talk to Mehdi. So that 
only left one person and she really didn't want to face that person, because 
she already knew what Georgia was going to say.

         But then again it would get her out and into sickbay to talk to 
Georgia and she just might run into Mehdi. So just maybe it was worth the 
lecture 
she was sure to get.............
