"Meditation's"
Cmdr Skyler
 
    Skyler left her office still unsure of who had made  the changes to it or 
had made sure it had been cleaned up. At this point in time  she had other 
things on her mind. She made her way to her quarters to try some  of Moreya's 
meditations techniques. She was hoping that they would help her to  decipher 
the 
mess that her life had become.
 
    Once she entered her quarters she had the computer  dim the lights to 
20%, made herself a cup of herbal tea and switched into some  comfortable 
clothing. Once all that was done she found a comfortable spot on her  couch to 
sit, 
placing the tea on the coffee table infront of the couch, she then  picked up 
the cloth that Moreya had given her as a reminder of their friendship  and 
their bond. Taking the cloth she sat down on the couch, crossing her legs  
Indian 
style, closed her eyes and started to take slow deep breaths letting her  body 
relax and settle into the couch.
 
    She held the fabric in her hands, still able to  smell Moreya's perfume 
on it, she would count to 20 then move her hands up the  fabric a little more 
stopping to count to  20 again. At each stop she would  take slow deep breaths 
to relax her muscles and her mind. The intent was that by  the time she had 
made her way completely around the circle of fabric she would  be completely 
relaxed and hopefully better able to remember things. That was the  hope, now 
if 
it happened was another story.
 
    Skyler didn't know how long she had been sitting in  her quarters or how 
long she had been circling the fabric but she did know that  she was more 
relaxed than she had been in a very long time. So much so that bits  and pieces 
of 
memories were coming back. Things that she didn't remember  happening. Things 
that made no sense.
 
    She saw Georgia, herself, an older woman and a  baby.  Later she saw 
herself with the baby.  The baby was hitting her  with a teddy bear. Georgia 
and 
the other woman were calling the baby Soliel or  Sunni. Georgia calling the 
other woman Miss Celeste. Celeste. That was her  mother's name, but who was the 
baby? Why was her mother holding her? 
 
    It was getting too confusing for Skyler. She  brought herself out of the 
meditation and when she did she noticed that she was  sweating. Why was that? 
What was going on? One thing was for sure, she had had  enough for one day. 
She picked up her tea which was now cold and took a  sip.
 
    Putting the cup down she increased the lighting to  50% and then went 
into her closet and found the box of personal effects from her  past that she 
carried with her everywhere. Sitting back on the couch she placed  the box on 
the 
table and opened it. Inside were memento's from her childhood.  Her first 
tooth. A lock of hair. A holovid of her parents. She went through  everything, 
but there was nothing about a baby or a teddy bear. There was the  death 
certificates for her parents. Their marriage license. Holovid's of Skyler  
growing 
up, graduating from high school, the academy but that was it. Other than  
holovids of Georgia and Henry there were no pictures or holovids of a baby. So  
who 
was this baby she saw while meditating. Who was Soliel or Sunni?
 
    Maybe she should talk to Georgia. Maybe she would  have the answers. 
Skyler wasn't sure what to  do.........
