Kiss of a Shadow

We kissed,

the stars,

we writhe,

we are

The light touch of fingers sent shivers down the spine and brought the next 
reaction as gooseflesh appeared lightly across the pale skin. There was a 
visible shake as the touch had left a cool sensation. Brown eyes that looked 
like honey in flames, looked up, and then closed as lips touched upon the small 
depression of the lower back. Those warm fingers that sent shivers in its wake 
traveled slowly upwards and gently rested on Anthony?s shoulders, only to 
travel down rested arms.

desire,

your flesh,

we are

Alder had worked his tender touches from the lower back and trailed up. It left 
a series of cool sensations that made Anthony shiver more. Which, needless to 
say, tormented Anthony?s sanity. Without much effort, Alder pushed Anthony?s 
arms up as his lips kissed his left side near his ribs. He looked up, brown 
eyes that looked on fire but as dark as a shadow; as Anthony rested upon the 
pillow with grey eyes shut. Alder bit down with enough pressure making Anthony 
react exactly as Alder had wanted. He jumped, and Alder smiled.

The kisses came back as he left his side and went to Anthony?s neck. Alder felt 
Anthony?s pulse on the right. That vein in his neck that came to life with 
every breath against his lips. He nipped at it and a distinctive soft sound 
came through Anthony?s throat. He continued his ministrations across Anthony?s 
neck as his fingers began to interlace over his companion?s. He stopped, 
resting his head on Anthony?s neck. Burying his face into those visible spots 
that twitched ever so slightly as he breathed out.

Anthony opened his eyes. Grey irises glowing and glossy against the dim 
lighting. It looked like small candles lit in a very dark room. He smiled at 
Alder who looked back. Anthony moved forward and kissed lightly upon the lips 
that had worked its magic.

Your mouth,

these words,

silence,

it turns

humming,

we laugh,

my head,

falls back

"You?re a tease."

Alder smiled giving an innocent look with eyebrows arched up, "I?m a tease?"

Anthony nodded with a smile, "yeah. You bite me, you neck me. You make me go 
all insane in my mind, and then you stop. You?re a tease."

His smile turned into a grin, "but you liked it."

Anthony couldn?t argue there, "I liked it."

Alder made a sound between a laugh and a chuckle. Anthony moved, reaching over 
as he kissed Alder. Making it worth the while in those short moments. Even 
through the blanket and the feel of Alder?s warm body, he could feel his back 
holding those kisses like a ghost of a touch. As if it would never leave.

"I?m going to return the favor."

Alder smiled and looked at Anthony whose eyes wandered of somewhere. It was 
looking at him, grey eyes that seem to have the keys to his heart. But it 
wasn?t there at the same time. "You seeing something?"

"I don?t think I?ve ever told you how much I love you."

"Actually, you have told me."

Anthony blinked slowly etched with a small smile, "I love you." More than words 
can say, Anthony thought out loud as he knew Alder would hear him.

It ended there as Anthony closed his eyes. His body went from relax to 
stillness. That state Alder noticed whenever he didn?t sleep. His body seem to 
go even deeper, and kept falling. Alder moved his arms, quickly tossing the 
blanket over them, and next had the computer shut the lights. He didn?t sleep 
as he looked at the dark outlines of Anthony and the shadows cast by the stars 
moved every so slightly.

He kissed the outlines of that shadow that was his companion?s temple. "I love 
you more."
