"In Engineering Again"

    K'etrall was engineering working alone. She was beginning to wonder if 
they were ever going to find anyone to replace Chief Thomas. There had been 
many 
replacements but none so far had stayed.


    She just hoped that she could keep things going while they continued to 
look for a new chief. Things were especially difficult now that they were 
running for their lives and being attacked in the process. This was getting out 
of 
hand. They had just had a wedding in the middle of all this and she had been 
unable to attend.

    K'etrall kept working alone as usual which was fine with her. It would 
just be nice if she had some help. She just didn't want to end up in sickbay 
again. As she was working she thought she heard the doors open.

    She stood up and looked up and yelled, "Whose there?"

    K'etrall waited for an answer and didn't get one so she yelled again and 
waited for a reply......
