<USS Avalon> Hunh?

OOC: I'm sorry that I've been so scarce lately. I just got a job that has me 
on the night shift and the details of my life are all out of kilter. Here is a 
short post that I wrote more than a week ago.

Hunh?

Timeline: Immediately after Karg rescued Kira and before our place in this 
timeline was resolved.

Karg and Nerys made it to Engineering without any further difficulties but 
they were stopped at the door by one of the Avalon’s security officers. "I 
need 
your security code before I can let you in sir."
"You need what?"
From inside Karg can hear a voice that must be Commander Skyler’s "I know 
that edge in his voice Ensign; better let him in."

When Karg finally gets inside he sees something that makes him smile. Lt. 
Manson is wearing a captain's rank the boss is wearing 2 less pips. Also within 
his gaze is the XO with a captured Tempest officer. With a wry smile he nods to 
the "captain" and says, "Sir."
"Glad to see you commander, report."
"Well, sir, the battle on the bridge you know about. I woke up alone in the 
Brig. I convinced the officer they sent to check on me that I should be let 
go."
"How did you do that?"
"I broke his neck."

Karg is looking at Ensign Cate as he says this last sentence. His dislike for 
this invader is obvious. He continues, "Then, on the way here, I met three 
more who put Nerys in the condition that she is in now."
"And."
"They won't be torturing any more prisoners."

Glaring at Ensign Cate, Karg silently helps Nerys to get some medical 
attention.
