<USS Avalon> "Heartbreaker, Life Taker"

Heartbreaker, Life Taker
Vevay Davis, Jayden Cross,
and Elijah Dareth

Bone weary, especially after fighting with Anthony, Jayden made her way back
home, hoping that Elijah was asleep. The last thing she needed was him
accusing her of cheating on him again. Let him check the computer, she
thought, I've been in the Science labs all evening. Though, he might get angry
with her visit from Anthony. She was too tired to care anymore.

Opening the door to their quarters, Jayden was immediately aware that things
were different.

"Eli?" she called quietly, moving about. Once she got into the bedroom, she
knew why. It was ransacked. Her things were scattered everywhere, the bed was
a disaster, and all of his things seemed to be gone. "No..." the pitiful sob
escaped her throat as she sank to her knees.

It took several minutes for her to compose herself, but then she began looking
for a note. Nothing. He was just gone. The only person she could think to go
to for comfort was Vevay, and so Jayden left her quarters with tear streaked
face. She found herself standing there staring at Vevay's door, unsure. She
had told Anthony that Vevay and Eli were having an affair but she didn't
really, truly believe it. It was just her being overly sensitive, she was
sure. It had to be.

Vevay giggled as Eli kissed her neck again. "This is so much better than all
that sneaking about. You'll get taken are of properly here, no more
incompetance," she said as she stroked his hair gently.

"Mmm... I know you will, baby. You're a good girl. Not a child like that
woman I married. She changed." He let his hand drift to her breast and give
it a squeeze as he kissed her again.

The chime sounded and Elijah gave Vevay a cross look.

"Hey, it's not my fault." I'll be blowed if you're gonna give me that look
every time my doorbell goes off. "Come in," she sang out.

Jayden stepped inside and sniffed before she looked up into two faces staring
at her from a rather compromised position on the sofa. Her face was blank,
unbelieving.

Typical. "Hey Jay, what can we do you for?" Vevay said, without changing her
bland expression.

"I- I- I," she stuttered. "Eli's stuff was gone," came the pitiful response.

"Well no shit Sherlock." Unwinding herself from Eli's embrace, Vevay stalked
up to Jayden. "Could that possibly be because he finally left the pathetic,
stuttering, wimp of a waste of space he called a wife?"

Elijah sat back on the sofa, choosing not to say anything. He enjoyed watching
Vevay's ass. Oh, and her confrontation with Jaydee. He smirked and propped
his hands behind his head.

"I- I- didn't know, I mean, we were friends."

"Were we?" Furrowing her brow in mock confusion, Vevay tapped her chin.
"Funny, all I remember was being the shoulder for you to blubber against. Grow
a fucking backbone, Jayden, and piss off."

Tears streamed down Jayden's face as she watched her world crumble around her.
Anthony's words kept scratching at the back of her mind and she knew she should
stand up for herself, knew she shouldn't take this. She wouldn't take it from
anyone else, so why Eli and Vevay?

Because she loved them both.

"How long?" she finally asked softly.

The final piece of humanity bled away from Vevay and she smirked. "For
forever. As long as I've known him, anyway. There were others to begin with,"
a chuckle, "but I soon replaced them." Folding her arms under her breasts, she
shifted her weight to the left. "You see, sweet, pathetic Jayden, you just
don't keep his interest. You're dull, love. Dull and useless." Grinning
again, she said, "And rejected."

What tiny shred of pride Jayden still had twisted at that moment. They would
pay. Both of them. Fire burned in Jayden's eyes as she moved her gaze from
the floor to Vevay's face. Nothing but revenge played out in Jayden's mind.
They had broken her.

Seemingly out of nowhere Jayden's hand lashed out, leaving an imprint upon
Vevay's cheek.

"You stupid bitch," she said as she shoved hard, knocking Jayden back a pace.
Raising her fist, she back handed her.

Feeling the blood dribble from her chin, Jayden looked at Vevay and then at
Elijah. "You both deserve to break," she said in her native Trill language,
knowing they wouldn't understand. There was no translation for the hatred
behind the words. Turning suddenly, she left.

Unconsciously rubbing her cheek, Vevay spat at the retreating back of her
friend. "Cer adra'r cont o sais hyll!" she screamed. "One day I'm going to
kill her."

Elijah chuckled as the door closed and Vevay seethed in anger. "Ah, she had
her fun and now it's over." Moving over to her, Elijah grabbed Vevay hard.
"I've never wanted you as much as I want you right now. Tied up," he added,
nibbling on her neck.

"Right now, I could go for causing pain instead of taking it," she muttered.
Her eyes were still on fire as she turned to Eli. She tried to smother the
flames but her face was still red and sore. "Tell me what you want, my love."

"I want to think of you and Jayden fighting while I'm fucking you," he said as
he grabbed her ass and pushed her against the wall, smothering any protest with
his mouth.

The impact drove the air out of her lungs and into his mouth. Despite
everything, his violence surprised her but she felt a small thrill building in
her stomach. Raking her nails up his back, she nodded against him.
