Georgia made sure she had everything in her bag before she left Eliza  Mae's. 
It had been good to see her old friend but even better to finally  let  the 
truth out about Sunni or Melanie as she called herself now. Her  only concern 
now was how Skyler was going to react.
 
"Lordy woman, why tis it, everytime I comes to visit you I end up taking  
back more than I came with? I ain't got the biggest quarters on the ship ya  
know." Georgia just laughed, enjoying the sensation of being happy for a short  
while. She didn't know what to expect once she was back on Avalon and facing  
Skyler.
 
"You ole' fuddy duddy. You always leave with more then you come wit. You  
should know that by now. You got everythin' I gave you to give to Miss Melanie  
and to dat stubborn girl Skyler? I don't want them yellin at me, because you  
forgot somthin' "
 
"Ya know Ole' woman I's gonna miss you. Lord knows why, but I am. Ya think  
by now we would be used to this? Good-bye's are never easy or fun. At least I  
know where I can find ya, especially since you never move or change."
 
Looking around one last time to make sure that she hadn't forgotten  
anything, Georgia turned to her old friend. This time there was a tear in her  
eye. 
She walked over and gave her friend a big ole' bear hug. "I'm gonna miss  you, 
you ole' woman. Thankee for everythign and for helping me to see things  
clearer."
 
The two women hugged and then Eliza watched as her old friend, looking just  
a tad bit older, walked down the path to the lane. Eliza was going to miss 
that  ole' fuddy duddy. After a few minutes, Georgia was out of sight and Eliza 
was  sitting on her porch with tears streaming down her face.
 
"You take care ya ole' fuddy duddy. I'm gonna miss ya  too."
