       Georgia was in tears as she watched Skyler and Mehdi get married. 
Perhaps she had been wrong about him after all. She would still worry about 
Skyler, nothing in the world would change that. But she wondered if her 
relationship 
with Skyler was going to change now. Was Georgia going to be left on her own 
now?

       It was getting late, so Georgia decided to let the young ones have 
their time, so she tried to sneak out and not get caught. Unfortunately that 
was 
not to pass. Skyler had been looking for her for sometime and had finally 
found her.

       "Georgia, wait up. Where do you think you are going? Especially on a 
special night like tonight."

       Georgia felt like the proverbial cat who ate the canary. She didn't 
want to say anything to hurt Skyler's feelings.

       "I just thought I would let you youngin's be by your selves now. After 
all it may be awhile before you get your honeymoon. Besides you don't need 
some old lady hanging around. You are starting a new life. I am just extra 
burden. Now go on back to you young man."

       "GEORGIA LEWIS I can't believe you just said that. You are not a 
burden and you will always be a part of my life, man or no man. I would've 
thought 
you knew that by now. You and Mehdi are my life. One does not exclude the 
other. IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?"

       Georgia looked at Skyler and realized how much she had changed from 
when they had first met. Skyler was no longer the shy medical officer who was 
afraid to speak her mind. She had grown into a well groomed officer. One who 
would stand up and speak her mind, even if it meant confinement to quarters. 
Yes, 
Georgia was proud of this little one. She may not have given birth to her. 
Yet in all other aspects Skyler was her little girl, and she had just watched 
her get married.

       Georgia reached over and pulled Skyler toward her ample bosom and gave 
her a giant hug. "Child, you be happy now and remember, you will always be my 
child and I will always be here for you."  Georgia reached down and wiped the 
tears off Skyler's face.

       The two women looked at each other and without having to say a word 
they knew what the other was thinking. They would always be together no matter 
what.
