***I changed the date of birth to age because I have no idea what year it
is.

Name: Li Vilya
Rank: Ensign
Ship: USS Avalon - NCC-27936-B

Species: Bajoran
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 120 lbs.
Gender: female
Skin color: Fair skinned Bajoran
Hair color: auburn
Eye color: brown
Place of birth: Bajor
Age: 26 standard years
Family:
father: Li Nalas (deceased) mother: Pel Resnys siblings: one brother Li
Findel
spouse: unmarried

Medical History: Considering she grew up under the Cardassian Occupation of
Bajor, Vilya is remarkably healthy. She retains several scars on her body
inflicted by Cardassians.

Psychological & Personal File: Vilya is a very bright individual. Her
father was interned in a Cardassian prison for most of her life. When he was
taken by the Cardassians, her mother took both children and fled Bajor to
settle
on Jerrado, one of Bajor's moons. The family was reunited, briefly, before
Vilya entered Starfleet.

Because she grew up on Jerrado, Vilya retains the tendency to use what's
handy and not depend on 'new' things if none are available. She has shown a
remarkable ability to turn useless objects into just what is needed.
'Necessity
is the mother of invention' is her favorite Earth saying.

Vilya is also a follower of traditional Bajoran religion and considers
herself blessed for having met, and gotten to know, the Emissary.

Education & Training: home schooled by her mother and other adults on Jerrado

Weapons Training: Even though Jerrado was basically a farming commune, most
of the adults were, at one point in time resistance fighters. Vilya learned
all about guerilla tactics and how to make weapons from scratch

Starfleet Background: Sponsored for Starfleet by Captain Benjamin Sisko,
the Emissary, Vilya graduated in the middle of her class. She concentrated in
the Engineering sciences. After graduation, she was assigned to the Academy
to teach several engineering courses as well as to teach cadets the low tech
way to make high tech.

The Avalon is her first shipboard posting
