<USS Avalon> "Fighting the Headaches" Skyler and Cazook

"Fighting the Headaches"
Cmdr Skyler & Dr. Cazook

Skyler left Georgia, still not feeling quite right. She was still
having those strange headaches. Similar to the ones she had on Starbase 12. At
least then she could go to Dr. Brookman, now her only salvation was Dr. Cazook.
She wasn't too sure if that was good or bad. She was sitting in her office,
which had been delegated to deck 3, thanks to Captain Flubb, trying to decide
what she should do. After much thought and pain, she decided that it would be
best to go back to sickbay and see Dr. Cazook.

She left her office and went to the nearest lift and entered it.
Once inside she leaned against the back wall and ordered it to take her to
Sickbay. She also wondered how that young woman was that she had helped to
sickbay
earlier. There was something about her that Skyler felt was familiar, but she
couldn't quite put her finger on.

Once she reached sickbay, she entered and looked around for Dr.
Cazook. Skyler finally found her, running scans on the young woman they had
run
into earlier. The closer Skyler got to her bed, the more she felt there was
something definitely there between them. She just didn't know what it was.

"Excuse me, Dr. Cazook, but I was told that if I was having any more
headaches and such I was to report to you. So here I am. Think you can give
me something for this headache so I can report for duty?"

Dr. Cazook stood and turned around. She had her bifocal's down on
the tip of her nose and was looking over the top of them. They were attached to
chain which she wore around her neck. Her graying hair was up in a bun. To be
honest, she looked more like an old maid, than a doctor.

"Uh, yes Cmdr. Is there a problem? That's stupid of me to ask, you
wouldn't be here if there wasn't now would you?" She tried to laugh it off, but
Skyler still wasn't too sure of this woman.

"As I was saying Dr. I am still having those headaches and
occasional flashes of some kind of memory. Something that has to do with a
woman, the
Avalon, and I believe another ship. I'm not entirely sure, which is why I am
here. You are supposed to be the expert on this, so I was hoping you could tell
me what was going on."

Cazook was a little surprised at the information that Skyler was
giving her. The Cmdr shouldn't be remembering those types of memories. This was
going to prove most difficult for Alexis, especially without the help of Dr.
Brookman.

"Cmdr why don't we go into my makeshift office where we can further
discuss your problem and I can run a few tests. Hopefully we can come to
solution to your problem fairly quickly."

Skyler followed Dr. Cazook into her office and sat down on the only
chair available, besides the one behind the good doctor's desk. She waited
patiently while Dr. Cazook consulted some notes or something. She wasn't,
however, going to wait all day. If Cazook didn't start soon, Skyler was going
to get
up and leave.
