BACKGROUND:

A native of St. Catherine's, Ontario, Canada, Felicity always wanted
to
be a doctor.  She spent most of her childhood studying illnesses dating back
to something known as a "plague" in old Europe. She graduated as
valedictorian.  From there, she immediately went to medical school, choosing
Georgetown
University.  Once she finished, she proceeded on to finish her medical degree,
with an emphasis in immunology and subsequently, psychology and sociology.
She
used her good grades and degrees to earn an invitation to StarFleet Medical.
She graduated with high marks and was assigned to a private research lab in
Kansas, USA to continue her immunology and psychology studies.  Her twin,
Dylan,
applied to the Academy two years ago, being a bit unmotivated and is currently
doing well.  The twins have a good relationship with their parents, who are
agriculture researchers in Ontario.  Sebastian, Felicity's older brother, is
currently listed by StarFleet records as missing in action.  His last known
wher
eabouts was somewhere near the Badlands, sent on a recovery mission of some
rogue StarFleet officers who defected to the Maquis.  He hasn't been heard
from
since stardate 9804.24.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE:

Interview remarks of Dr. Julius Winthrop, StarFleet Medical Academy

Felicity is known to have work related obsession.  She will lock herself in a
research lab for days, lacking sleep or food when she feels she is on track
to a breakthrough.  She is generally even-tempered, but these work obsessions
tend to shorten her proverbial fuse.  Felicity is not easy dissuaded nor
distracted from her work or task at hand, which can be a true asset in a crisis
situation. This interviewer would suggest that Felicity be stationed somewhere
her
talents can be put to good use, but not allow her obsessive tendencies to
come to light. As Felicity is in fact a twin, there appears to be a rather
strong
tie with her brother, Dylan. More study is required to pin point exact
details of their bond.  This interviewer cannot say for certain whether there
is
telepathy involved for just a strong empathetic link.
The time she served aboard the Michelin before it's destruction was
particularly useful for her.  She refined many of her medical skills,
including her
bedside manner and crew interaction.  She excelled in the counselor role,
helping many of the crew unburden their troubled souls.  The ship was
destroyed
during the invasion in the Alpha quadrant of the Toran'ir.  Felicity rescued
three of her fellow crew members in an escape pod and they were all lucky to
survive with only minor bumps and bruises.  The ship and it's command staff
were
not as fortunate.  The medical staff all carries a bit of guilt about their
failure to save the Captain, Commander and Chief of Security who were all
trapped on the bridge during the initial attack.  She's been trying to come to
terms
with this guilt and the interviewer hopes that her new assignment will give
her a fresh start to rid herself of it and focus on her research.
