<USS Avalon> Dinner

Dinner

Captain Ketchum arrived exactly on time. Waiting were drinks and hors d’
oeuvres. The menu consisted entirely of dishes from Karg’s youth in what was 
the 
Southwestern United States. There was:
· Green tomato salsa, on the spicy side
· Bone soup
· Blue Corn Tomales made with venison and broccoli
· and for dessert, a Flan covered in Buckwheat Honey and wild berries

"I've never had a Flan quite like this lieutenant."
"Sir, honey is a natural antidote for the oils that are found in those hot 
peppers. Since Nerys is new to our food, I thought it would only be fair."

Over drinks Keith asks, "What do you have for me?"
Karg replies, "Computer, erect a level One security field around this room." 
As Nerys hands a PADD to Keith. On it is the information supplied by the 
Obsidian Order. Keith asks, "How did you come by these names lieutenant?"
"I have an access code from the Fleet Captain that can get me pretty far but 
every time I got even close to Section 31 I was stone walled. Once, some kind 
of security officer interrupted my research to pry into my affairs. When I 
refused to answer his questions, he terminated my link. I was exactly no where. 
After my last attempt, Nerys said that the Cardassians probably know more about 
Section 31 than we do."

"And they were cheerfully helpful?"
Nerys answered, "Not exactly sir. I fought on Cardassia at the end of the 
Dominion wars. They sort of owe me."
"I see. Have you verified any of this information yet?"
Karg replied, "Not yet sir. I wanted to get your feedback immediately 
especially considering who is at the top of the list."
"Yes, the Cardassians may have their own agenda but do some research and let 
me know what you find."

"Aye sir. Right now this information is only on these two PADDs. I'm 
concerned about anyone stumbling on it."
"I agree. Carry on and keep me informed."
"Aye sir.
