=/\= Cleaning Up...Working out =/\=
Cam finished up in the PT room with Yeoman Walters therapy session for that
day. It took a few weeks of physical therapy to recover from a dislocated
shoulder and when you separate a shoulder playing Parrises Squares, it can take
a
few days before you even feel like moving again. Let alone having someone
manipulate your shoulder socket around.
He was finished with his scheduled appointments for the day and now that he
was, he could go down to the gym and get a work out in. Kaera had kept him
active enough since he had come aboard but there was always something nice
about
the stretching and movements of the Klingon exercises.
Entering the gym he found it a bit of a mess. He wondered who would have
left it in such a condition, but he set about tidying it up a bit before he
started. He went around the wooden stantions and found them to be marked and
pitted. He would have to find a laser sander and smooth them back out.
He went to the wall rack containing the several weights of quarter staffs.
He found a few of them to be cracked and pitted as well. He took one over and
compared the dimple in the wooden stantion. It matched perfectly. He frowned
at it slightly. He pulled out a black leather thong and tied his long white
hair into a single pony tail.
He took a few more minutes cleaning up and went to the comm panel and did a
few inquiries as to who had been in the gym lately. Besides himself of course.
There were quite a few names. Most of them he recognized, but the one that
stuck out to him was one Ming Kabuki. "Hmmm" He mused aloud as he reread the
name again. He couldn't imagine that it had been one of the earlier names.
He was the last one here.
There was no point in brooding about the rest of the damage so Cam set about
fixing it. He went to a wall replicator and got the laser sander to smooth
out the stantions. With in a few minutes the dimples had been sanded smooth.
He set about boning them so they wouldn't chip and dent again. If Mr. Kabuki
was prone to such stresses, Cam didn't want to have to re-sand the stantions
every time.
It took a few hours to do the work. But it was sort of relaxing for him.
And afterward he went ahead and cleared away the stresses of the day with a
round of the mok'bara. After a few minutes he went to the console and sent a
message to Mr. Kabuki. It was really an invitation to come down and join him.
In the meantime, Cam would go about creating new targets, to replace the ones
that had been destroyed. It would take a few hours to do so... if Mr. Kabuki
was going to join him.
