 CMOSNUFFY:  Sciences:

Snuffy and T'pice are setting at thier stations.  T'Pice is studing several 
rear plants that could boost food production in drought stricken worlds such as 
Vulcan.  Many of these plants are from worlds that the Avalon has visited.  
Snuffy is reading science logs that are several days old, trying to get 
caught up from being knocked out in the holosuite.

Snuffy:  T'pice how goes the plants?

T'Pice:  many of these plants are unsuitable for the experment, but I have 9 
that should fit peremiters 

EnsMidorikawa:  Greg knocks on the door to the lab, still unsure about his 
place in the department.

Greg:  Sergeant Major Williams, reporting in, sir. 

CMOSNUFFY:  Snuffy:  Welcome aboard Sergent Major.  I am Lt. Snuffy.  This is 
Ens T'Pice.  What science specialities have you worked in in your past 
assignments?

EnsMidorikawa:  Greg offers his hand to both officers.

Greg: Pathogens, that's it, I'm afraid, that's all I do.

CMOSNUFFY:  Snuffy:  Great!  Both of us are more of the physical sciences 
types.  You are our only biosicences specialist on board the Avalon.  Please 
choose a work station.  If you need any help, let T'pice or myself know.  It 
will 
not ruffel my feathers for you to ask for help. 

EnsMidorikawa:  Greg:  Will do

Smiling, Greg finds everything he needs, hoping that the young Cadet he'd met 
earlier was finding his biology easier going.

Greg:  I don't suppose you know how our Mr Forester is getting on, do you?

CMOSNUFFY:  Snuffy;  Young Mr. Foster has not checked in with me as of yet.  
I suppect He is in his quaters using the personal holoprogram to set up his 
quaters.  You were informed as to this program?

EnsMidorikawa:  Greg:  Nope, what's that?
EnsMidorikawa:  you alright?

CMOSNUFFY:  Snuffy:  Each person's quaters is a mini-holosuite.  You may set 
your quaters up as you please.  I have mins set up as a mountain pass with my 
nest on a cliff over looking a deep valley, as it would be on my home world. 
T'Pice describe your quaters please.

T'Pice:  I have mine set up as my personal quaters on Vulcan.

Snuffy;  You may see a Jaconian SgtMaj. coming by the Science Lab often.  
Vikmil is on loan to the Avalon and is assigned to the Security  department.  
but 
he like science more.

EnsMidorikawa:  Greg smiles to himself.
EnsMidorikawa:  Greg: I've never met a Jaconian before.  And, to be honest, 
my quarters are just fine as they are.  I'm fairly easy going

 CMOSNUFFY:  Snuffy:  You would never have met a Jaconian, T'Pice & I were 
exploring a section of the Gamma Quadriant when we were not needed on the 
current mission at that time.  We made First Contact with the Jaconians and 
detected 
a Founder trying to takeover thier world.  We were able to stop Him and the 
Jaconian leader sent Vikmil to study us, but He has proved his loyalty to us 
more than once.

EnsMidorikawa:  Greg:  Impressive.  Sounds like this is definitely the place 
to get 'world' experience as my Professor said.  I think I'll enjoy myself

He grins at the other two scientists, starting to fiddle with his station, 
setting it up as he likes it

All three members of the Science Lab return or start duties.  At the end of 
thier shift each returns to thier quaters for rest.
