Alexis Cazook was born and raised in Benecia Colony, which has now been a 
human settlement for almost 100 years.  An only child, she led a fairly 
sheltered 
life, surrounded almost entirely by books and the electronic knowledge 
database of the colony.

She spent most of her life as a research scientist, and never expected to be 
treating patients on a regular basis, much less being in Starfleet.  However, 
the stresses of the Dominion War have forced the fleet to draft quite a few 
medical officers, and Dr. Cazook has been one of these.  She's trying to make 
the best of it.

Personality:  Dr. Cazook is friendly and cheerful, always looking to find the 
opportunity to learn in a new situation.  She's a bit on the naive side, 
having had little experience of the world outside of her libraries and labs. 

Hobbies:  Reading and needlework.

Starfleet Career: Assigned to Starbase 12 upon graduation from the academy 
and has remained there, working under Dr Brookman until her current assignment.

Assigned to the USS Avalon - B Stardate 20407.05

Duties to include observation of those officers undergoing a brain wipe and 
their reactions to such a procedure. She is not to interfere with any day to 
day Medical problems unless called upon by the Captain or Chief Medical Officer.
