<USS Avalon> Avalon "Shore Leave with 2 Dr's and 1 Cmdr Part 1

The door opened, revealing what appeared at first to be a standard
set of station residential quarters. A closer look suggested the
whole place had been set up as a quiet nightclub -- very small,
very intimate, very private.  The centerpiece, what had been the
living room when this was private quarters, had no table, but only 
a half circle of large, very high backed chairs around a black, 
slightly wavy pillar. 

The person who greeted them was a Deltan male -- tall, elegant, and
like Moreya, almost completely hairless.  As he bowed in greeting to 
each of them in turn, Felicity and Skyler were both struck by how 
attractive he was.

"Moreya," he said, his voice a warm bass, rumbling like the purr of 
some great cat.  "It is so good to see you again.  I see you have 
brought friends.

"Yes, This is Dr. Roan, and Commander Skyler.  They both work with 
me on my ship.  Commander Skyler in particular I think would 
appreciate your work.  She has just suffered ... a great loss.  
Doctor, Commander, this is Eldacan, an old and very dear friend."

As they murmured greetings, Eldacan said, "As Moreya may have told 
you, I am an artist and musician.  My art is worked in lights, to 
accompany my music.  It would be an honor to perform for you."

Skyler looked at Eldacan for a moment. "She did mention that you were 
an artist and musician, she also said that coming here would help me 
to forget my problems. I hope she is right. It would be an honor to 
listen to you play. I am curious as to how this all works."

Skyler, Moreya and Felicity found a table to sit at and waited for 
someone to come around and take their drink orders. The room was 
essentially dark except for the lights that accompanied the music. 
Looking around Skyler noticed that there were quite a few people 
in the room listening to the music and lights. 

It wasn't long before another Deltan came over to the table and 
took the drink orders. Looking at the waiter Skyler stated, "I will 
have a large Diet Pepsi with lots of ice if you don't mind. Ladies 
the drinks are on me tonight."
