<USS Avalon> Avalon Log 041216--Anything Is Possible

Vilya wondered if she would run into any of her former students on board the 
Avalon.  She didn't have access to the ship's manifest but the idea was 
definitely possible.  Every cadet had to take the survival course and she'd 
been 
teaching at the Academy for six years.  

Neither McEntire or Garrity had been in her classes but they had't graduated 
after her.  Those two amused her to no end.  It pleased her that they were 
fellow engineers.  Working with them would definitely be interesting.  Ming had 
voiced his approval of them both, even as he irritated her by asking them to 
keep an eye on her.  Agter the tour was over, Vilya escorted her husband back 
to 
the transporter room.  He stood there, his blue eyes looking down into her 
brown ones, with a sad smile on his face.

"I can ask God to watch over you every night but it would help if you'd be 
careful any way," he said softly.  "Please."

"Of course I will, especially now that I have two guardians that you bribed 
with food," Vilya replied with a mischievous smile.

"Good.  You know I'll be here waiting for you."Ming chuckled softly then made 
his religion's gesture of blessing over her then he kissed her forehead 
before stepping onto the transporter stage.  He was still waving to her as he 
dematerialized off the ship.

Her duty shift didn't start until the next day but Vilya had something in 
mind other than sitting back in her cabin.  She was going to starting walking 
the 
corridors of the ship.  She wanted to get to know Avalon from bow to stern 
and ifshe got the chance to meet her crew mates in the process, she would be 
pleased to get to know them as well.
