<USS Avalon> Anger

"Anger"
Vevay Davis, Soliel, Elijah Dareth as played by Soliel with permission from
Lyryn

He sat on the couch facing the door. Watching it, waiting for it to open.
She should have been back hours ago. Heâd told her that she was to come
straight home after her shift. Heâd told her that she was his now and needed
to be
home for him when he got there. He didnât like to be kept waiting, and his
temper was starting to flair. The leeway he was giving her was over. It was
time
she found out he wasnât playing with her.
The buzz of finishing her case study matched with the pride in Bryce's eyes
drained away as she bounced into her quarters. The look on Eli's face stopped
Vevay in her tracks.
"What's wrong, love?"
Eliâs eyes flashed with anger but his voice was level. âWhere the hell
have
you been?â
Shrugging, she flashed her most charming smile. "I had to stay late to help
Quinn with something. I'm sorry, how can I make it up to you?" she cooed.
He rose from the couch and closed the distance between them in one fluid
moment. âYou had to stay late for Quinn?â He asked, her face within inches
of
hers. âWhere you fucking him?â
Her jaw dropped as her eyes widened. "No, Eli, of course not." Anger
smoldered in her eyes. "What kind of a whore do you take me for?"
Eli reached up and wrapped his hand in Vevayâs hair. âI donât know, V,
you
tell me. I told you to be home and you werenât. So you had to be somewhere..
If you werenât with Quinn then it must have been someone else. Who was it
V?â
His last question was enforced with a tug of her hair.
"Ow, Eli, you're hurting me." She reached up and dug her nails into his
hand. "Let go. I told you, I was working." Feeling her nails break the skin
brought her a sick satisfaction. "I work hard, Eli, not like some people."
The sting from Vevayâs nails breaking his skin fueled the power in the back
hand that made contact with Vevayâs face knocking her to the ground. Eli
loomed over her, âYou work is worthless. Tomorrow you will be here when your
suppose to be. Do you understand, or are you going to be as useless as Jayden
was?
â
"Fuck you," she spat as blood dripped from her cracked lip. Wiping it away
with the sleeve of her uniform, she pulled herself up. "What I'm not is as
spineless as Jayden. Don't fuck with me, Eli. Don't you even start."
Jayden had never talked back to Eli. She took every verbal jab he sent her
way, and because of that heâd never raised a hand to her. Vevay on the other
hand was going to prove a harder nut to crack. Eli grabbed her by her uniform
and pulled her close to him. âI think you need to learn when to keep your
mouth shut, Vevay.â With that he pushed her hard, sending her into the wall
behind her. With Vevay pinned against the wall, Eli wrapped his hand around
her
throat and squeezed. âYour such a bitch sometimes.â
Soliel sat in her quarters quietly fuming. Tonight was Vevayâs night and the
young woman wasnât there yet. Tapping her nails on the side of her wine
glass, Soliel wondered if their last encounter had come to soon. Had she miss
judged her Dear One; there by giving her to much to soon? That could have
explained the odd mix of emotion sheâd sensed from the girl a few days ago.
Closing
her eyes, Soliel deiced she needed to calm herself before Vevay did get
there. It would do either any good if Solielâs first desire was to punish
the
girl to harshly.
Scraping her nails at the fists around her throat, Vevay tried to scream.
Eli, please, stop, please. She couldn't get the words past his stranglehold.
Lights began flashing before her eyes, little dark spots danced around Eli's
head. HELP ME! she screamed silently.
He held her there until he felt her body start to go limp and then he let
her drop. âDo you get it now, Vevay?â
The emotions came first. Anger, fear, pain. Then the words came as a
blistering whisper. Soliel didnât even bother putting her uniform back on.
She
headed for Vevayâs still wearing the flowing Chinese grown sheâd had over
her
leathers.
Eli hit Vevay again when she tried to get up. Then he knelt before her. âGet
your ass cleaned up. I wonât have you bleeding over my dinner or while Iâm
fucking you.â
Without a word, Vevay tried to crawl toward the door. Eli's boot in her side
knocked her over. Her throat still hurt, she couldn't breathe right and her
voice wouldn't come. Using the wall to pull herself up, she glared at him. A
spark of pride crossed her eyes and she stuck a finger up at him.
Eli laughed. âIs that the best you can do? And here I thought you were
capable of being more intelligent.â There was a strange smile on his face as
he
reached out and grabbed Vevayâs wrist. Pulling her to him, he twisted her
arm
behind her back and then encircled her with his free arm. He latched on to
Vevayâs breast and squeezed as hard. âYour being a very bad girl, V.â
She kicked out with her foot, connecting with his knee cap. The shock made
him let go and she managed to take three steps to the door before he was on
her again, pulling her to the ground and pinning her there. She looked up into
the hatred in his eyes and she saw her father glaring back at her. "No...
please..."
Soliel didnât bother to ring the chime, she simply walked in. The scene
playing out before her sent fire through her veins. Grabbing the man by the
collar of his shirt she pulled him hard, sending him a few feet away from
Vevay.
âWhat the fuck!â Eli yelled as he hit the floor. âGet the fuck out!â
The universe span away from her as she felt sure she could feel her father's
hands on her body, tearing at her clothes, pushing her harder against the
floor. Shadows played and danced around her. The pressure suddenly released as
she heard Eli's voice cry out. "Die," was the last thing she said before she
passed out.
Soliel looked down at Vevay and her heart stopped as her anger flared. She
was able to sense the manâs movements before he was able to reach her, so
she
was able to react before his fist connected with her body. Soliel quickly
bridged a link between Vevay and the man, Elijah, forcing him to feel what she
felt ten fold. She watched as Eli fell to his knees and then telepathically
called for Thomas and two of her other young men. Then she knelt next to
Vevay.

âThis isnât your concern, Colonel.â Eli gasped out.
âThe moment you harmed what is mine, what is special to me, it became my
concern.â
Thomas and two broad shouldered men came into the room a moment later, and
Soliel began handing out orders. âTake Vevay back to my quarters, Thomas.
Call
Eva and have her tend to her wounds.â She then nodded the other two in Elijah
âs direction, be she continued to talk to Thomas. âOnce Vevayâs with Eva
come to the holodeck.â
Thomas nodded and gently picked Vevay up off the floor. Soliel used her
security codes to have them beamed to her quarters so no one would see them.
She
then turned to Elijah, who was being held up by her two pets. âLets play,
Mister Dareth.â
