Finally the man moved from the shadows into the light, "Well, Mr. Karg, you 
have done very well for our test."

"Your test?"

"Yes, since you seemed dubious enough to go over to the Allegiance alone, we 
figured that you were in cahoots with the Yoloron. Though it was interesting 
that he fought you, instead of trying to enter you and kill you that way."

Karg blinked at the man, "Are you going to tell me your name or should I 
guess", trying to get as much information to ascertain the situation.

"Oh, sorry, Fleet Captain Marc Offenburger, welcome aboard the USS 
Sutherland."

Karg went to tap his Comm badge, but found that it was missing. 

"Your badge was left in the sickbay on the Avalon, they are probably 
wondering what happened to you."

"I dare say. What does Section 31 have to do with this?" 

"Actually, like I said, the test was to see if you were in cahoots with the 
alien. As to Section 31s involvement, we do not have that information, but 
wanted to see if you would provide information about that group."

Karg offered no comment so Marc continued, "I have done extensive background 
checks on yourself, including your casual meetings with any obscure officers, 
and it seems that you are clean and are not influenced by Section 31, which is 
a good thing in my book."

Karg nodded, trying his best not to be impertinent.

"But I personally believe that there is at least one operative on each the 
Avalon, and the Allegiance, though I am not sure who. Keith is unaware and 
unwilling to believe this, but valQIS has her suspicions within her own crew."

"Section 31 on the Avalon", Karg appeared to be thinking of who it might be.

"I have learned that it is not necessarily the obvious person or the quiet 
one." Karg listened to the Fleet Captain, "Come, let us adjourn to a more 
comfortable room."
