<USS Avalon> "Alone in My Quarters?" Cmdr Skyler

"Alone In My Quarters?"
written by:
Commander Skyler

Captain Ketchum had just gotten done chewing both Skyler and Javan out
and accused them both of possible mutiny and ordered them both to their
separate
quarters until such time that an investigator could figure out what had
really happened.

Skyler wasn't worried, she knew the truth would come out and she would be
cleared. After all who would believe someone with a record of more misconduct
reports that one could count on two hands, while the other person involved
had already been given several awards, including the Romulan Defense award.
Right now though she decided to change her room around to give her the feel of
being around a lake with a small fishing boat and a cabin with a rusty fire
place. It may be rusty and neglected, but it still held the best fires around.
The
only thing missing was someone to share it with. She wondered if the doctor
who released her from the brig would be interested. After all the Captain never
said anything about not having company. And she certainly wasn't going to
invite the arrogant son of a bitch Javan that's for sure.

She sent a message over the comm system for and marked it for his eyes
only. "Ensign Mehdi Idrys. Commander Skyler requests the pleasure of your
company for dinner at 1900 hours this evening and will take no for an answer.
Dress
is casual. You might want to bring something for the water and we may go on a
trip. Cmdr Skyler out." The more she thought about it, the more she wondered
what he would think about it.

She had to admit that when he first walked into the brig area he wasn't
bad to look at from either side. He the kind of voice that would melt anyone.
She just hoped he would come for dinner since she hated to eat alone. And it
looked like she would be eating alone for sometime or at least until this
investigation was over and she could return to her job.

She was beginning to think that the Avalon had a thing against her. Every
time she served on it, something went wrong and she ended up in the brig or
in some kind of trouble. Maybe the ship knew more than she did and she just
wasn't listening. Who knew? She looked at the clock and it was getting close to
"the" time so Skyler went about changing the room and then changing herself and
waited to see what happened next, if anything..........
