atw: Work in Tasmania

Hi,

I'm moving from Brisbane to Launceston, following my wife, so I'm going to need 
to find some work.  Does anybody have any suggestions on looking for tech 
writing work in a smaller city/economy?

I've found that the amount of work is a lot less, but that's not real 
suprising.  Neither is the lower pay scale.

Any suggestions will help, because as much as I like the idea of sitting in 
front of the fire with a shiraz, I'm going to need to do something productive ;-
)
