atw: Word macro to insert autotext

Hi all -

I'm setting up a template in Word 2003=2E The content is mostly
headings and tables--open a new document based on the template, type
text under the headings, enter content in the tables=2E

Some headings are standard and are always there when you open a new
document=2E Some content is optional=2E

For the optional content, I want to have a custom toolbar with 6-10
buttons, one for each type of optional content=2E Click a button to
insert the corresponding block of text (e=2Eg=2E a heading followed by an=

empty paragraph followed by a table with a header row and a couple of
empty rows)=2E

I guess I could create an Autotext entry for each content type, then
record a simple macro in which I just insert the Autotext at the
cursor location=2E This would work, though it seems a little indirect=2E
I'm wondering if there's a best or better practice=2E

Is there a way to assign a block of formatted text directly to a
macro button=3F

Stuart
