atw: Word 2003 TOC

Hi folks,

I'm trying to remove a leader from a heading level in a Table of Contents. Even 
though the formatting for TOC3 shows no leader, it keeps re-appearing; if I 
select the leader, delete it and then tab to get the page number back to the 
right place, the leader re-appears. So then I tried to reformat TOC1 and TOC2 
to have a leader, and none will appear.

My preferred solution is no leaders.

Suggestions please.
