I just bought a copy of DreamWeaver on-line and tried to activate it
on-line. I followed all the instructions and had all the details for my
newly purchased product, but the activation process failed – told me I
didn’t have an internet connection.
So, remembering Warren’s experiences, I decided to activate by phone. I
rang the number, got the recorded message, entered the 24 digit serial code,
followed by the 28 digit activation code. Then I was given another 24 digit
code to enter on my screen.
Once successfully activated, I had to register on a screen that would not
accept autofill. It all worked like clockwork, and the whole process took
about 5 minutes (except for the time wasted realising the on-line activation
wasn’t going to work) but pity the poor dyslexic who tries to enter all
those numbers!
