Internet Manager 

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has an 
excellent opportunity for a highly capable and experienced Internet 
Manager in Sydney. You will be required to:
manage website content so that it is timely and targeted, including 
through contact with subject matter areas, planning and coordinating 
updates
ensure our websites meet the changing demands of companies, financial 
institutions and consumers as well as ASIC's communication needs
organise structure of content and navigation
promote high quality web writing. Write and edit content
maintain and improve websites, including negotiating with information 
technology staff
manage ASIC's e-newsletters and other on-demand electronic products. Write and 
edit content
implement Government and ASIC publishing standards
manage our Web Editor.

The successful candidate will have excellent writing, editing and 
information design skills particularly in an on-line environment. They 
will have a strong interest in and commitment to communicating clearly and 
persuasively with companies, financial institutions, and consumers and 
investors. They will also have a proven ability to manage content and 
editorial and publishing processes in electronic media with minimal 
supervision. Strong staff management skills will be needed.
ASIC seeks a committed professional with a strong work ethic and an 
exceptional eye for detail, with relevant qualifications and/or extensive 
experience in electronic publishing.
