I am looking for two full time technical writers to work with Mincom in 
the Brisbane office. Here's a copy of the full ad text, as seen on

Mincom Limited provides enterprise solutions focused on improving business 
outcomes for the mining, oil and gas, utilities, transportation, and 
defence and government industries. 

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer, who will research, write and 
edit training and user documentation for our Mincom Ellipse and other 
software products in accordance with the relevant documentation standards 
and Mincom methodologies. 

The successful applicant will possess the following experience:
* Technical writing and/or training content development in the IT industry 

* Well developed knowledge of documentation systems
* Sound knowledge of the documentation production industry
* Sound knowledge of the documentation production methods
* Writing and editing technical & training documentation
This position requires an individual who has an excellent command of 
English grammar, punctuation, and spelling and who is detail-oriented, 
organised, and communicates effectively. 

A background of relevant experience and knowledge in the composition and 
editorial review of technical documents is required. 

In addition to the requirements above, you will also have the following 
technical skills:
*AuthorIT
*Microsoft Windows environment
*Microsoft Office Suite
*Adobe Acrobat
*Documentation techniques including graphics
