Austechies,
A 6-month contract, starting early December, is available with a large
resources company based in Perth.
You would be responsible for the development and delivery of training
programs to support various implementations of, and enhancements to, the
company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
In particular, your responsibilities include:
. Develop specific training programs and documentation with the
vendors providing applications (which include ISS Babblefish and Honeywell
PHD Historian)
. Work with business analysts to understand key business processes
that need to be incorporated into training documentation;
. Work with site representatives to identify the training needs of
the end users.
. Provide single-point co-ordination for the project to arrange
the relevant training sessions at each of a number of sites throughout WA;
. Work with site-based training coordinators to ensure access to
training resources and systems;
. Maintain a training progress register and report progress to
Change & Communications manager;
. Provide regular progress reports to the Change and
Communications manager;
. Coordinate with Change & Communications team as required.
Some intra-state travel required.
This is the beginning of a long term project to deliver an improved MES
capability across the company, specifically designed to:
. Replace the current MES layer with a unified and simplified set
of applications and related technologies;
. Adopt a uniform and integrated approach to business processes
across all company sites, with improved efficiency and effectiveness through
use of the abovementioned technology;
. Improve data quality, reliability, auditability and
accessibility through enhancements in information technology and business
processes;
. Develop a minimalist reporting strategy to deliver standard core
official management reports across all sites via a portal;
. Integrate the MES and ERP (SAP) system where possible; and
. Position the business for subsequent MES and ERP initiatives.
If you are interested, send you CV to me ASAP.
Cheers
