atw: Tip: spelling "lose"/"loose"

Yesterday someone sent me an e-mail where they meant to write "lose" but
instead they wrote "loose", which prompted me to come up with the following
tip. (And here's another tip: Why not publish tips on your intranet? (if
you have one and you don't do so already))

  <tip>
  To differentiate the words "lose" (as in "lost") and "loose" (as in
  "footloose"), think of the words "lost" (single O) and "footloose"
  (double O). Those reminders also apply to related words, like "losing
  (not winning)", "losers (not winners)" and "looser (not tighter)".
  </tip>

Of course, spelling tips won't overcome slips of the fingers (nor all
brain-slips), especially in e-mail, but they might help in some
instances.

Regards,
Craig
