On UNIX and Linux systems, superuser is the person who has total access
to all aspects of the machine and operating system, especially for
configuring security and network geometry, a.k.a. root, and
Administrator on Windows.
As long as we are working in the software industry, it might be wise to
use another term for knowledgeable users in the appropriate end-user
domain: expert, expert user, power user (yech!), experienced user, peer,
colleague, or whatever.
Regards,
Hedley
