Hi,
Did you attend the ASTC conference in Melbourne held onFriday and Saturday? If
not you missed a great time. The presentations were verygood.
Even if your tastes (or work needs) didn’t extend to the presentations’
topics,the opportunity for networking is always there. And you never know who
you maymeet. This year, I saw someone being given the name of a possible work
opportunityand that has happened to me before. If you were lucky, you could
also have won oneof the great prizes that were raffled.
The food and the venue were good and Elizabeth Abbott was anexcellent
chairperson. All in all, a great conference! But then, I didn’texpect anything
less from Janet Taylor who, as it has been the case for a very,very long time,
organised it.
Next year, the conference is back in Sydney. Do considerattending.
