Hi everybody, Hopefully you can provide me with some advice regarding the
following. I am currently employed as an academic/trainer in the IT area and
would like to change the direction of my career into the world of technical
writing and document management. I think that my writing skills are good, but
to support this change I would like to update and refine my skills with some
'focused' training. Can you make some suggestions about courses or approaches
that might be appropriate.
Based in Victoria (Melbourne metro. area) or on-line.
Preferably short? (E.g. I would prefer not to embark upon postgrad-type studies
at present)
Industry based?
Others?
I know that some courses are promoted on the atw list but I have been unable to
attend these recently due to scheduling difficulties, but if there are more 'in
the pipeline' I would like to know.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,Sean O'Sullivan.
