** Creating Visual Information **
This course shows you how easy it is to create attractive and meaningful 
graphics that enhance your branding and the usability of your documents. It 
includes:
- how to use conceptual diagrams, illustrations flowcharts and screenshots
- simple âtemplatingâ techniques to make your visuals consistent and 
professional
- how to overcome resolution and incompatibility problems.

** Clinical Skills for Editors: How to manage your documents effectively **
This course gives you a systematic and structured approach to identify and 
resolve the  weaknesses and defects in your documents. It includes:
- how to use the âeditorial loopâ to diagnose and remedy structural problems
- how to manage the writerâs voice
- strategic methods for identifying and treating textual ills.

PRESENTERS
All three courses will be conducted by experienced writers, interaction 
designers and information designers at the forefront of the industry. All three 
have a wealth of experience teaching writing and information design for 
Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (CPIT).

CPIT have run the internationally renowned online Graduate Diploma of 
Information Design for many years and attract a number of well known 
international staff.
