atw: Strange use of fonts ... last try at this message

I have noticed that Fox News are using mixed fonts on their headlines, such
as Fox News Alert
where Fox News is in a serif font
and Alert is a sans serif font.
is this a new trend?
Am I missing something?
is it more memorable in some way?
is it just silly?
