atw: SOLVED: Making table-heading rows in FM6

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the way choosing the Add Rows or Columns
command (and then the To Heading option) preserves the table formatting and
column widths -- a big improvement on my work-around! (below)

Specifying heading rows for an existing table seems to be omitted from the
FrameMaker documentation, as far as I can see. (The ideal-sounding index
entry "heading rows in multipage tables" turned out to be a red herring, as
did several sections with promising names.) So I've added it to my personal
list of tips, and I've copied this message to Adobe Support.

Thanks,
Craig

A colleague is amending a FrameMaker 6 document. Wherever a table continues
onto a second page, the column headings appear on just the first page.

I suggested using the Table menu to convert the table to text and then
convert it back again, because the Convert to Table dialog box lets you
designate heading rows.

Is there an easier way to specify heading rows for an existing table?

Thanks,
Craig
