atw: Resuming a numbered list in Robohelp HTML x3

I am currently frustrated within RoboHelp HTML X3 .

I am finding problems with the continuation of numbering with numbered
lists.

The Challenge...

Procedures that exist within a HTML  topic might consist of a number of
sequential steps, each one a paragraph of the same numbered style.

Sometimes, between steps (paragraphs) I might have a paragraph or two
providing explanations or further information concerning a particular step.
These "between step" paragraphs use a different style (sometimes bulleted,
sometimes plain, or possibly using different "numbering" (letters, or roman
numerals, for example) to indicate sub steps).


Originally the project  was converted to RoboHelp HTML format from winhelp
format, using the RH Import feature.

Up until now, numbered lists continued the numbering sequentially...
For example

1.  Do something.

2. Do something else.

     You might want to get someone else to do something else as well.

3.  Stop doing something.

4. Go home.


Now, apparently randomly, some numbered lists retain their sequential
numbering, yet most now revert to:

1.  Do something.

2. Do something else.

     You might want to get someone else to do something else as well.

1.  Stop doing something.

2. Go home.


That is, the numbering restarts at 1 after the different style "between
step" paragraph.

I cannot find a way of getting the numbering back to sequential, without
"force starting" the numbering, either through html coding, or through the
RoboHelp X3 paragraph format editor.

In the above example, for step "1.  Stop doing something." I can reset the
numbering from within RH X3 choosing Format>Paragraph>Bullets and
Numbering... "restart numbering at 3" to get the sequence right.

Considering I've got over 150 different topics to go through, this is a
daunting task.

Does anyone have a neater, faster and more automated solution?
