Request for research respondents/participants (Sydney)
 
Kirsten Sadler is doing her PhD in IT on mobility and mobile technology
usage and she is looking for people to participate in her research. In
particular, she is looking for freelance workers (in any industry) who
work for a number (at least 2) of employers during a period of say 12
months. The aim of the research is to gain an understanding of how
freelance workers work to improve the design of useful and usable mobile
technology. In other words, encourage design from a user's perspective
rather than from a technological or commercial perspective. The idea is
to ask or observe people to better understand what they want or need.
She is hoping to do some pilot interviews with people who live or work
in Sydney preferrably before Christmas. The interview will be fairly
informal and will be one hour maximum duration at a time and place that
suits you. There is no monetary payment for being involved
unfortunately, but you'll be furthering a good cause!
