ASTC Westies in Sydney uses a friendly pub in Parramatta.
Superb venue, though not excellent for speakers for large groups.
Though I think we could organise it with the management if we had to.
You might want to consider something like that in Melbourne.

Erisa >ASTC VIC doesn't seem to have any general business or any
discussion at meetings just guest speakers.
That may be because of the location of the meetings. How many people
are going to whinge about the attitudes of a particular recruitment
consultant - or in fact anything much - when the meetings are on the
premises of said consultant with no door between the consultant left on
duty and the meeting? Hmmm.
Once I realised where the meetings where held, I lost all interest in
joining the Vic group - as far as I was concerned at the time, it's
freedom of action and behaviour was severely compromised by its
location. I think others may have felt the same thing. I wonder if
this has ever been brought to the attention of the committee?
