atw: Re: technical writers/editors in Melbourne

Hello Everyone,
Greetings to you.

It is great to be a part of this mailing list and get useful tips on
technical writing. I am a writer based out of India. I am planning to
relocate to Australia to continue with my career in TW. Could anyone kindly
provide me with some tips and list of consultants who can help me out with
this. Is it a must to take IELTS exam? And, is there anyway we can get in
touch with companies from India.

Even my husband is a technical writer. We both are looking at working in
Australia. We have 6+ years experience in TW, worked with tools like Adobe
FrameMaker, RoboHelp, WebWorks etc. We have worked with companies like i2,
SAP, Hyperion, etc.

It would be great if you could also provide some details about schools in
Australia as well and their fee structure. I have a three year old son, who
will be moving with us.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks and Regards,
Siri Sood
