atw: Re: spam free zone?

Indeed Bill,

It is so much a matter of how switched on / personally involved your ISP is.

My former ISP, the locally grown and owned (Camberwell, Victoria) Mira
Networking, which was run by committed enthusiasts / perfectionists, used
to be absolutely marvellous until they were absorbed by the huge,
Singaporean owned Pacific Internet, who shifted the whole operation to
Southbank, stuffed their Mira customers around for months then, finally,
got things working again.

But, I fear that it's a case of the bigger they are, the less they care and
I cannot afford to change an E-mail address that has been my main contact
point for many years or I would have changed over ages ago.

Some of us just have to grin and bear it, complaining to our ISPs every now
and again to get some useful assistance.

Regards,

Michael Granat
