Run a "break pdf password" search.  I imagine you'll find some tools are for
purchase, but there should be plenty of free ware available.  I don't think
you can crack it without using a tool of some sort, so you'll have to take
the risk of downloading something that appears trustworthy.  Suggest that
once you have made a choice, run another search on the name of the software,
to make sure that other people haven't had problems, that is, haven't had
any nasty things loaded along with the tool.  (Search, eg "infections with
tool xyz?").
