I use HDK, Erisa, and would recommend nothing else (except Virtual Media's
latest version ReWorx).
It really depends how you wish to maintain your documentation and what you
need to create. For example, do you need to create help in multiple formats?
Are you single sourcing your documents? (That is, producing paper guides -
maybe as PDF, online help for Windows, UNIX or IBM mainframe, online guides,
html page help, and so on from one set of source files).
Do you have many authors providing you with text? Do you wish to use the
software interactively? and so on.
I obtain my text from various authors so use MS Word for my basic set of
files.
I'll be happy to expand on any of my questions off line.

My company is going to buy an online help system.
I am trying to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the various ones out
there: being
TDK, Robohelp, IT author, ??? any other recommendations?
Could anyone give comments please?
